한적한 어느 날, 생일파티를 맞아 에어바운스에서 놀던 아이들.

아이들이 탄 에어바운스 고정장치가 풀리고 강한 바람에 날아가다가 절벽 측면에 걸려 위험에 처하게 된다. 구조대원들은 레펠을 이용해 안전하게 아이들을 구하고 무전으로 소통하면서 아래 안전지대에 착지해 구조를 완료한다.

ECC: 119, what’s your emergency?

*ECC(Emergency Communications Center)

 

A: Our bouncy house just took about 30 meters in the air.

ECC: One of those big blow-up houses for kid’s parties? 

 

A: Yes! You have to come now. There are 3 children still inside of it.

 

ECC: Where is the bouncy house now, Ma’am?

 

A: It’s hanging, like, from the side of the cliff! Please come quickly! 

* hang from ~ : 에 매달리다.

 

(119 FIRE HOUSE)

ECC: We got three kids in a bouncy house, on the hillside.

 

Park: All right, we’re going to stage the trucks on that service road. 

* stage the truck : 트럭을 주차하다., service road : 측면도로

Choi, I want you to rappel down and anchor that bouncy house. 

* anchor : ~을 고정시키다.

Assess the condition of those kids, start to send them down one by one in a basket.

* assess : 평가하다

 

Choi: Hey, guys? We’re Fire and Rescue. We’re going to get you out of here,

everybody, just stay calm.

* get someone out of~ : ~로 부터 누군가를 꺼내주다., stay calm : 진정하세요

Hey, boy, can you tell if your friends here are okay? Are they awake?

Are they breathing?

 

Boy 1: Yes, they are breathing now. I am scared now. Please help..!   

 

Park: Don’t worry, boy. We’ll do our best. Come on, let’s go down.

Nice and easy, nice and easy.

* nice and easy : 천천히

 

(All are rescued)

Park: we’re good. Take me down.

*take someone down ~ : ~을 내려보내다.

 

Boy 1: Thank you, Sir. I thought we are never going to make it. 

* make it : 살아남다, 성공하다.

 

Choi: Take care, boys.
